The Noble Alumni Association launched in Summer 2018 and has continued to grow ever since. The Noble Alumni Association’s mission is to establish and promote a life-long relationship between the Noble Network, alumni, and Chicago community. Their aim is to connect Noble alumni through their five core values: leadership, advocacy, community, empowerment, and development.
In April 2019, the Noble Alumni Association created their inaugural board with 10 members from all over the Noble network. The board meets once a month to help plan activities that support Noble alumni. They also receive professional development through Noble’s Alumni Career Office. I joined the Alumni Association because I believe Noble Alumni have incredible untapped potential. I wanted to be a part of a movement that helps alumni advocate for themselves, grow in confidence, and build their professional and academic career.
I joined the Noble Alumni Association because I believe in Noble’s mission in changing lives. I am grateful for everything Noble has done for me and I want to help the next generation of scholars.
I have seen how powerful alumni networks can be for individuals even as early as high school. Seeing how poorly some institutions retain and interact with their alumni, I want to help build something meaningful that can be a powerful tool for others from Noble to succeed.
The Noble Alumni Association (NAA) provides a structure that empowers me to continue serving students beyond the point of graduation. Additionally, the NAA allows for me to serve students in communities across the Chicagoland area. As a Noble teacher, my goal is to engage students and support them in being the change that I hope to see. I’m extremely passionate about giving back to the Noble community and fellow alumni. Embodying the essence of Noble, the spirit of opportunity, and the definition of perseverance, I am honored to be apart of this amazing team.
As a Noble Alumni Member, I wanted to connect Noble alumni with each other as well as different parts of the city. Being in this association gives me insight into the level of dedication necessary to maintain an alumni network, and I am proud to represent the workings of such a network for Noble.

I want the Noble community to be have safety nets and be listened to of their needs as they transition to adulthood. My career goal is to work with youth of color with disabilities who are transitioning to adulthood. I believe being a member of the NAA allows me to transfer the skills I know to make greater change.
I joined the Noble Alumni Association to use my tools and experience to help Noble Alumni connect and grow together. My favorite part about being a Noble alum is connecting with other alum and sharing stories and memes about going to Noble.
For me, education was my “light at the end of the tunnel.” It was clear to me, given my circumstance, there was no other alternative. Luckily, I was extremely blessed to have gained a supportive cohort of teachers and counselors during my tenure at my perspective Noble campus- Gary Comer College Prep. It was because of them and their consistency that I attribute much of my success. Now, I want to give back that sense of community and support I was so blessed to have.
