How did you learn about Noble Network? Why did you choose to send your child to a Noble school?

Ms. Harris:  I learned about Noble by watching, looking and praying for another school in the area like Urban Prep. I realized there was a co-ed charter school not far. After research, I realized Noble was managed quite differently than regular CPS schools, which appealed to us. We wanted more inclusive yet different setting for our girls. We were looking for diversity and inclusion but also wanted discipline, and intimate settings with instructors, because that’s how they were raised.

How has Noble impacted your family’s life?

Ms. Harris:  Noble has had a tremendous impact on the lives of our family! They make it easy to get involved. They provide programs that include the family, and encourage the scholars! We’re encouraged by the scholars enthusiasm. With all that’s going on with education, Noble takes the time to better the community of students, and communities that students are from.

Why do you continue to be an advocate for Noble schools?

Ms. Harris: I continue to be an advocate for Noble because we need it. Our students need someone to advocate for them, while learning how to advocate for themselves. In the end it’s worth it. They’re encouraged to further their education, and also lead exemplary lives.

What advice do you have for current or future Noble parents?

Ms. Harris: My advice is to not give up. If you don’t like your situation go find help. Talk to the teachers and other parents.

Is there anything else you would like for people to know about Noble?

Ms. Harris:  We need to put our money where our mouths are! The schools need money to operate! We need more people visiting Noble schools and in the educational system in general, to be impressed by and enthused by our students. This can be done using our time , talent, and money!
