Noble is partnering with Brandman University to expand degree offerings and opportunities for students enrolling in Noble Forward, adding to the existing partnership with Southern New Hampshire University. Noble Forward is an affordable, flexible option for Noble Alumni to enroll in an accredited four-year university. This online competency and project-based program can be completed on students’ own time, so it fits more easily into a challenging work schedule or home life. Students do need to commit to a total of about 15 hours per week of schoolwork and find time to meet with their assigned coach weekly.
“We believe that college completion is the best preparation for our students to live exemplary lives,” said Eric Rapp, the director of Noble Forward. “Our vision is to increase college completion by rethinking the college experience and providing innovative new post-secondary options that combine rigorous academics with intensive supports.”
The new partnership creates additional degree pathways leading to a Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree. Students who elect to study business can select one of five emphasis areas: general business; information systems management; management and organizational leadership; marketing; or supply chain management and logistics. All options are offered via self-paced Brandman MyPathTM programs.
“We have a long tradition of helping students who need more than an admissions letter. They need college programs designed to fit their lives,” Brandman Chancellor Gary Brahm said. “Noble Forward shares our vision of making higher education more accessible to students who have important commitments to their families and jobs. We’re excited to begin a new partnership that will help Chicagoland students earn degrees and begin new chapters of their lives.”
Whether students have gone to college before or are starting their journey for the first time, Noble Forward recognizes that students are individuals with different life circumstances, motivations, and aspirations. That’s why Noble Forward is:
FLEXIBLE WHEN STUDENTS NEED IT. The online, competency and project-based program can be completed on students’ own time, so it fits more easily into a challenging work schedule or home life. Students do need to commit to a total of about 50 hours per month of schoolwork and find time to meet with their assigned coach weekly.
DEMANDING WHERE IT MATTERS. Noble Forward cares most that students advance in their learning until earning a Bachelor’s degree. Even though the program is flexible, coaches hold students accountable to the goals students set for themselves.
PERSONAL AND SUPPORTED. Students are assigned an in-person coach who advises them throughout their program on topics that are academic, logistical, professional, motivational, or even more about life in general.
AFFORDABLE. Tuition and fees are $3,200 per semester, or $6,400 per year. For many students, this amount will be covered by federal Pell Grants which do NOT need to be repaid.
“Noble Forward is an important resource for our alumni and they know we are dedicated to their success,” added Amber Johnson, recruitment and enrollment associate. “Many students have experienced hardship, misdirection, and the utter feeling of not belonging in college. Some even believe that the process of getting back into college is too daunting. Noble Forward cares and we demonstrate this care by taking action and removing barriers to students’ success. No one slips through the cracks because we don’t want any student’s dream of earning their degree to go unrealized. The stakes are too high. We all win when our students feel confident and supported and ultimately walk across the stage with their Bachelor’s degree.”
