Did you know, Noble alumni can be found in cities and towns across the country from Boston to Ann Arbor, Champaign to Claremont. With more than 17,500 Noble alum, the Alumni Supports Team hosts an annual “Noble Day” celebration, designed to encourage graduates to connect on their respective campuses by wearing their Noble gear and spotting each other in class, the commons, campus courtyard – or office boardroom! Each Noble Day has resulted in stories of alumni celebrating their Noble pride and meeting new, and sometimes old, friends along the way.

With many college and university campuses practicing social distancing or committed to online learning, this year’s Noble Day 2020 was revamped into a virtual homecoming event. In partnership with the Noble Alumni Association, the day began with breakout professional development sessions including:

– Financial Planning with Joe Holberg of Holberg Financial
– Career Outlook with Son Nyguen of LinkedIn
– Noble Forward  with Amber Johnson,  Noble Forward Recruiter
– Majors to Careers with Myriam Duran, Alumni Counselor at UIC College Prep

The event continued with a fireside chat with Noble’s CEO Constance Jones and Noble Alumni Association President Lisette Hernandez.

Special guest performances from alumni Julianna Medina, Noble Street class of 2019, and Jeff Berry, Noble Academy class of 2018 (@theonlyJayyB); and two high-energy music sets from DJ JSmooth (Gary Comer class of 2015 – @Iamsmoothgroove – website) and DJ CeaseDays (Muchin class of 2013 – @ceasedays – Mixcloud).

To end the event was a keynote address by Sir John, a world-renowned celebrity make-up artist, and fashion aficionado, in conversation with Kadeem Fuller, Noble Alumni Success Coach. Sir John stirred the motivation of participants with insights on topics from finding success, building your brand, to imposter syndrome. Sir John talked about the importance of self-worth and being present in places where you are celebrated, not tolerated. He also shared the story of his journey as an aspiring creator, telling the audience about the time he turned down one of the most prolific artists of this time – Beyoncé. He would later accept the superstar’s offer to join her team – albeit,  on his own terms. The result is a partnership and career full of trendsetting influence and inspiration.
