Crain’s Chicago Business held a roundtable discussion on why diversity, equity and inclusion matters. Noble’s Director of Equity, Inclusion and Diversity, D. Nigel Green, joined the discussion and provided insight into Noble’s work in DEI and anti-racism.

D. Nigel Green serves Noble Schools as the Director of Equity, Inclusion and Diversity. This year, the DEI Team has focused their efforts on Noble’s progression as an antiracist organization, as well as mental health awareness and destigmatization. Prior to this role, D. Nigel served as Muchin College Prep’s Assistant Principal of the Scholar Experience. He dedicates his energy to creating justice-aligned outcomes for students, families, and staff by shaping Noble into the equitable, antiracist organization we all aspire for it to be. He supports our amazing educators and leaders through their individual, organizational, and institutional journeys toward a more just Noble. A native Chicagoan, he hails from Kenwood Academy (Go Broncos!), Northern Illinois University – BS, Marketing, University of Missouri-St. Louis – MEd, Special Education, and is a current University of Wisconsin-Madison doctoral student.
