About – Karla Acosta
Hi her name is Karla, she was born in Veracruz, Mexico. She grew up in Texas, moved to Chicago in January of 2020. The path that got her here is moving for a job opportunity that her partner took. She is happy to have the opportunity to work at UICCP because She Connect with the community and love the friends She have made while working here. She is most excited about being in the classroom and interacting with students again. As well as coaching cross country and returning to being engaged with the community. A goal that She have is to be mindful of her wellbeing and mental health by not overworking herself.
