Meet Our Principal
Interim Principal, Rowe Clark Math & Science Academy
Conor Quinn joined the Rowe-Clark team as the Dean of Instruction in 2012, where he worked to support Rowe-Clark’s math and science teachers. After four years as Dean, he became an Assistant Principal in 2016. His work in that role continued to be primarily academic, and he also provided operational, logistical, and data support to all school functions. Over his seven years at this campus, Conor has seen Rowe-Clark improve from a Level 2 to a Level 1 school in CPS’s school quality ratings and is particularly proud of the improvement from 29th to 95th percentile in three-year cohort academic growth between 2014 and 2018. Conor believes deeply that a strong academic program is the backbone of Rowe-Clark’s success and positions our students to live a life rich with options.
In his time at Rowe-Clark, Conor has graduated two advisories, one in the class of 2016 and one in the class of 2019, and has coached Track and Football.
Before joining Rowe-Clark, Conor was a math teacher in CPS and instructional coach with Teach For America – Chicago. Conor grew up in Boston, Amsterdam, Cleveland, and Memphis before attending Williams College in Massachusetts, and he has lived in Chicago since 2007. He enjoys exercising, gardening, and spending time with his wife, Kristen, and their new daughter, Evan.
