About – Miracle Moss
I was born on the south side of Chicago and raised in the Englewood area. In 2003, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL. I continued my education at Chicago State University, earning a Master of Science in Education in Curriculum & Instructional Leadership. In 2014, I began my work at Noble as the Dean of Students at Rowe-Clark Math & Science Academy. I proudly served in this position for three years before being promoted to the Director of Student Support. Two years later, I became the Assistant Principal of Culture, where I directly managed the Dean of Students and Dean of Discipline. In 2021, I proudly sat in the seat as the Principal of Rowe-Clark Math & Science Academy.
I am a mother of three beautiful girls. One of my children graduated from Rowe-Clark in 2021 and is attending Oregon University on an academic and athletic scholarship. I am passionate about the work I do daily at home and on my job, demonstrating this through my commitment to each. I firmly believe that children cannot be what they do not see. As a principal, co-advisor, dance instructor, cheerleading coach, and mother, I constantly remind my students and children that having a seat at the table to create change is essential. I am excited and dedicated to continuing this work as I leave a small imprint on future leaders. I remind my students and colleagues daily they are expected to “lead from the front and not the back.”
