About Noble Admissions

Noble schools are public and non-selective. There are no tuition costs and no testing requirements to attend. You can contact the Noble Enrollment Office at any time by emailing admissions@nobleschools.org, calling (833) BE-NOBLE, or filling out the contact form.

Noble has 17 high schools
and 1 middle school.

Students enrolling at Noble Schools must live in Chicago and successfully complete 8th grade for 9th-12th enrollment. Enrollment for Gary Comer Middle School (Grades 6-8) is also listed below.

Gary Comer College Prep Middle School

Students enrolling for grades 6-8 must simply live in Chicago and provide two proofs of their Chicago address. There are no tuition costs and no testing requirements to attend.

Sibling Preference

If the 6th-grade applicant has a sibling enrolled at Gary Comer College Prep Middle School or Gary Comer College Prep High School and will remain enrolled for the 2023-2024 school year the applicant will receive preference in the lottery.

GoCPS

GoCPS is the new universal enrollment system used by all public high schools in Chicago. For students who wish to attend a Noble school for Grade 9 for the 2024-2025 school year, you’ll need to use GoCPS to apply.

GoCPS Application Opens: Wednesday, September 13th at 10am

GoCPS Application Closes – Thursday, November 9th at 5pm

GoCPS Re-ranking Deadline – Friday, December 1st at 5pm

Missed the Application Window?

If your students misses the fall window to apply, you will be able to add your student to the rolling waitlist via GoCPS. The dates for this will be released in 2024.

10-12th Grade Transfers

To receive the online application please submit an interest form. Click HERE to preview the online application.

For Intercampus Transfers, current 10-12th Grade students who have attended classes at a Noble campus and are in good standing may transfer to another Noble campus if the campus is accepting transfer students (i.e., only if the campus has open seats). To be in good standing, students must not have pending suspension(s) or expulsion at their current campus. Movement from one Noble campus to another may only take place during transfer windows as designated by Noble. Families interested in transferring from one Noble school to another should call Noble Admissions at (833)236-6253 to start the transfer process.

For Hardship Intercampus Transfers, please call Noble Admissions at (833)236-6253. 9-12th Grade students can complete a Hardship Intercampus Transfer Application.
