Dalonte is a father, husband, educator, and leader. He is a first-generation college graduate born and raised on the westside of Chicago, IL. Dalonte is also a Noble alum and graduated from Noble Street College Prep. He has committed his life’s work to education to serve his community in order to elevate and bring attention to the power of those most marginalized. He’s a firm believer in liberatory education being a key lever to multi-generational transformation.
Dalonte is entering his 12th year in Noble. He entered Noble as a paraprofessional at Rowe-Clark Math & Science Academy on the Westside of Chicago. Most recently, prior to joining UIC College Prep, Dalonte served as a Principal Resident at Noble Street College Prep. There, he worked to develop an instructional equity framework that led to some of the highest equitable outcomes for students with IEPs. He also worked to create an anti-racist framework aligned to Noble’s Anti-racist and DEI committment to drive the work of dismantling racist practices and policies.
Dalonte is a graduate from Lewis University where he majored in Broadcast Journalism and played on the men’s basketball team for four years. He received his master’s from National Louis University in Special Education. Dalonte is excited to be a part of UIC College Prep and working with the community in actualizing the mission of creating positive multi-generational change leading to students living out their greatest aspirations.
