Hi Noble,

As we close another year, I am filled with gratitude and pride for the extraordinary progress we have made. Among the many milestones we have reached, few shine brighter than the achievements of the Class of 2025, who earned more than $643 million in scholarships. On average, each student received over six acceptances to four-year colleges, including some of the country’s most prestigious institutions, such as Northwestern, Notre Dame, Stanford, Tufts, and the University of Chicago, to name a few. We are incredibly proud of all of our graduates. Congratulations to the Class of 2025! 

Those college outcomes do not stand alone. This year, we saw strong academic movement in all grade levels - an encouraging sign of Noble-wide progress. Most notably, our 11th graders achieved historically strong results on the ACT, growing 2.7 points in a single year - far surpassing our ambitious 2-point goal. Such progress does not happen by accident. It reflects the strength of our classrooms, the dedication of our staff, and the unwavering belief in what our students can achieve.

There were bright spots for our staff, too. We named four more Distinguished Teachers, recognizing their sustained excellence in the classroom. And our end-of-the-year Net Promoter Scores and Engagement Survey results are the strongest we have seen since 2021 - a meaningful sign that more of our team is feeling purpose, connection, and support in the work. We know there is still room to grow, but this progress matters.

At the same time, we recognize that our work does not happen in isolation. As protests in Chicago, Los Angeles, and other cities call attention to harmful immigration actions and policy decisions that threaten the rights of LGBTQ+ individuals, communities of color, women, and others whose dignity and safety are under attack, we are reminded that the lives of our students, families, and staff are shaped by forces far beyond our school walls. And yet - our students keep striving, our families keep showing up, and our staff keep leading with care and conviction.

Importantly, Noble remains steadfast in our belief in the rights and dignity of every person in our community. We are—and always will be—on the side of our students and their families.

This climate does not slow our work - it makes it more urgent. More essential. So while we pause to recognize momentum, we do not stand still. The needs of our students remain real, and our calling remains clear. This moment is not an endpoint - it is a checkpoint. A brief pause to reflect, recharge, and then get right back to it.

And it is in this urgency, of this moment, of our mission, that your work shined brightest this year. Our progress did not happen by chance. It was powered by you--our exceptional Noble staff. Your excellence unlocks potential that might otherwise remain untapped. From our teachers to our campus support staff, our leaders to the Noble Support Team, and to the partners who stand alongside us every day, notably our related service providers - thank you for every bit of effort, care, creativity, and perseverance you brought to the work this year. It takes all of us. And because of you, we are changing lives.

I also want to recognize the many Noble teachers who delivered especially notable outcomes for their students this year. Their extraordinary efforts are worth reading and celebrating–read their names and stories below. 

As I reflect on these results, I have also been reflecting on my own Noble journey: from student to teacher, Dean, Principal, Chief, and now CEO. And like Noble itself, my path has been anything but linear - shaped by deep learning, meaningful growth, and hard-earned transformation.  

The Noble I lead today is, at its core, the same I walked into as a ninth grader - steady in its mission, clear in its purpose, grounded in its values, and powerful in its resolve. And yet, it is not the same Noble in so many important ways. It has grown. Adapted and refused to stand still. We live in a city that looks very different than it did over 25 years ago. Our students face new challenges, shaped by ever-shifting systems around them. It is our privilege—and responsibility—to meet them where they are today without losing what has always made Noble Noble: our unwavering belief in our students and our relentless pursuit of excellence.

Balancing stability and growth, excellence and equity, is demanding - but essential. As our students evolve, so must we. That is why we do not just reflect - we plan, act, and push forward. Our upcoming three-year strategic plan reflects that commitment: grounded in our values, focused on student outcomes, and driven by the belief that striving for excellence is at the heart of this work.

Thank you for everything you have done—and continue to do—to move this critical work forward.

Al cerrar otro año, me siento llena de gratitud y orgullo por los extraordinarios avances que hemos logrado. Entre los muchas metas que hemos alcanzado, pocos brillan más que los logros de la clase del 2025, que ha obtenido más de 643 millones de dólares en becas. Cada estudiante ha recibido un promedio de mas de seis admisiones en universidades de cuatro años, incluidas algunas de las instituciones más prestigiosas del país, como Northwestern, Notre Dame, Stanford, Tufts y la Universidad de Chicago, por nombrar algunas. Estamos increíblemente orgullosos de todos nuestros graduados. ¡Enhorabuena a la clase del 2025!

Estos resultados universitarios no son los únicos. Este año, hemos observado un fuerte avance académico en todos los niveles, una señal alentadora del progreso de Noble en su conjunto. Cabe destacar que nuestros alumnos de 11.º grado obtuvieron resultados históricamente buenos en el ACT, con un aumento de 2.7 puntos en un solo año, superando con creces nuestro ambicioso objetivo de 2 puntos. Este progreso no es fruto de la casualidad. Refleja la solidez de nuestras aulas, la dedicación de nuestro personal y la firme convicción de que nuestros alumnos pueden alcanzar sus metas.

También hubo aspectos positivos para nuestro personal. Nombramos a cuatro profesores distinguidos más, en reconocimiento a su excelencia sostenida en el aula. Y los resultados de nuestra encuesta de compromiso y puntuación neta de promotores de fin de año son los mejores que hemos visto desde 2021, una señal significativa de que más miembros de nuestro equipo sienten que su trabajo tiene un propósito, conexión y apoyo. Sabemos que aún hay margen de mejora, pero este progreso es importante.

Al mismo tiempo, reconocemos que nuestro trabajo no se realiza de forma aislada. Las protestas en Chicago, Los Ángeles y otras ciudades llaman la atención sobre las decisiones políticas perjudiciales que amenazan los derechos de las personas migrantes, LGBTQ+, las comunidades de color, las mujeres y otras personas cuya dignidad y seguridad se ven amenazadas, lo que nos recuerda que las vidas de nuestros estudiantes, familias y personal están determinadas por fuerzas que van mucho más allá de las paredes de nuestra escuela. Y, sin embargo, nuestros estudiantes siguen esforzándose, nuestras familias siguen apoyándonos y nuestro personal sigue liderando con cuidado y convicción.

Es importante destacar que Noble se mantiene firme en su creencia en los derechos y la dignidad de todas las personas de nuestra comunidad. Estamos, y siempre estaremos, del lado de nuestros estudiantes y sus familias.

Al reflexionar sobre estos resultados, también he reflexionado sobre mi propia trayectoria en Noble: de estudiante a profesor, decano, director, jefe y ahora director ejecutivo. Y al igual que Noble, mi trayectoria no ha sido lineal, sino que ha estado marcada por un aprendizaje profundo, un crecimiento significativo y una transformación ganada con esfuerzo.

La Noble que dirijo hoy es, en esencia, la misma en la que entré cuando era estudiante de noveno grado: firme en su misión, clara en su propósito, basada en sus valores y poderosa en su determinación. Sin embargo, en muchos aspectos importantes, no es la misma Noble. Ha crecido. Se ha adaptado y se ha negado a quedarse estancada. Vivimos en una ciudad que es muy diferente a la de hace más de 25 años. Nuestros estudiantes se enfrentan a nuevos retos, moldeados por los sistemas en constante cambio que les rodean. Es nuestro privilegio, y nuestra responsabilidad, acompañarlos en su camino sin perder lo que siempre ha hecho que Noble sea Noble: nuestra fe inquebrantable en nuestros estudiantes y nuestra búsqueda incesante de la excelencia.

Equilibrar la estabilidad y el crecimiento, la excelencia y la equidad es exigente, pero esencial. A medida que nuestros estudiantes evolucionan, nosotros también debemos hacerlo. 重要的是，Noble始终坚定不移地相信我们社区中每一个人的人权与尊严。我们始终站在学生和家庭的一边，并且永远都会如此。

当我反思这些成果时，我也回顾了自己的Noble旅程：从学生到教师、教务长、校长、首席执行官，再到如今的首席执行官。就像Noble本身一样，我的道路远非一帆风顺——它由深刻的学习、有意义的成长和来之不易的转变塑造而成。
