Mr. Chantel Jones, a proud product and pillar of the North Lawndale community, has served DRW with distinction since joining in January 2017 as a member of the discipline team. His journey reflects a commitment to community, excellence, and integrity. Starting from a foundational role in maintaining discipline, Mr. Jones quickly distinguished himself through his strong work ethic, leadership skills, and dedication to student success.  Over the years, Mr. Jones transitioned to the role of Director of Athletics and Physical Education, where he has been instrumental in shaping the sports program and promoting physical fitness among students. His approach to athletics is deeply rooted in the values of teamwork, perseverance, and respect, which he imparts to every student-athlete under his guidance. As an African American man of color, Mr. Jones upholds the highest values, serving as a role model and mentor within the DRW community.  His leadership extends beyond the athletic field, as he actively engages with students, parents, and fellow educators to foster a positive and inclusive environment. Mr. Jones’s unwavering dedication to the North Lawndale community and his profound influence on the DRW culture make him a beacon of inspiration and a true asset to the organization.
