Chivon Ford, a proud Chicago native from the Eastside, is entering her 13th year in education. With a deep commitment to equity and student-centered learning, Chivon’s passion lies in leveraging students’ lived experiences outside the classroom to drive meaningful outcomes within it. Her work is rooted in the belief that academic success is most powerful when it connects to identity, community, and culture. Over the years, she has served in various roles across the educational landscape, bringing intentionality, empathy, and high expectations to every space she leads. In addition to her work in education, Chivon is a new mom to a beautiful baby girl, a role that has deepened her understanding of the importance of nurturing the whole child.
