David Brown, Noble’s Senior Director of Communications, began his career in education as a 6th-grade math teacher in Atlanta, Georgia. After spending two incredible years in the classroom, he realized his skills and passions would be better utilized in a different way – marketing and communications. He decided to pursue an MBA and cut his teeth in the private sector. He had the opportunity to work with some of the most recognizable brands: IBM, Hewlett-Packard, MillerCoors, promoting all types of products from beer, to laptops, and enterprise software. With this corporate experience, David returned to education and has been running marketing and communications campaigns in school systems in Chicago since 2017. 

David earned his BA in Public Policy from Duke University, his MBA in Marketing from Cornell University, a Master’s in Education Leadership from the Broad Residency in Urban Education, and is a proud  Chi25 Surge Alum. Born and raised in Washington, DC, David has fallen in love with Chicago and still has an unhealthy obsession with the Washington Commanders and his beloved Duke Blue Devils. He enjoys spending most of his free time hanging out with his wife and kids.
