
Erica Allen

Erica Allen is a proud daughter of the North Lawndale neighborhood located in the heart of Chicago’s west side. A first-generation college graduate, Erica earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Administration and Pre-Medicine from U of I, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She began her professional journey in healthcare before answering the call to education.
Erica joined the Noble in 2018, where she has since served as a teacher, advisor, instructional leader, and systems-level thought partner. She earned her Master of Education in Educational Research and now serves as the Dean of Instruction for 12th Grade & College Programming at Gary Comer College Prep.
A proud alumna of the Diverse Leaders Fellowship, Erica is honored to return as a mentor for the incoming cohort. She remains passionate about building capacity in others and cultivating liberatory spaces for educators and students of color while anchoring her purpose in clarity, culture, and courageous leadership.
Outside of work, Erica enjoys shopping, new dining experiences, fellowshipping with friends, and serving Chicago alongside her sisters of the National Association of Colored Women’s Clubs, Inc.
