About – Latifat Momson

A Nigerian-American raised in the South Chicago neighborhood, Latifat has been a member of the Noble community since 2008 when she joined the founding class of UIC College Prep. Upon graduating, she attended Harold Washington Community College and later VanderCook College of Music where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Music. As of today, Latifat serves at Baker College Prep as a Culture Specialist, Advisor, and Guitar instructor. Latifat is ecstatic to be a part of this cohort of Diverse Leaders! She’s thrilled for the opportunity to sharpen her leadership skills and gain a better understanding of her place in the Noble community. Latifat would like to thank her very large and lively Nigerian family for their honesty and unwavering support in all she does.
