Overview

The Center for Excellence is a living hub for Noble staff who are growing in their craft and seeking high-impact learning opportunities. It brings together role-aligned professional learning and leadership development experiences that reflect Noble’s values and commitment to students and families.

All opportunities included here have been intentionally curated based on evidence of impact, alignment to Noble’s instructional priorities, and consistency with our Management and Leadership Frameworks. This is not an exhaustive list of everything available in education,but a starting point for development that moves practice forward.

Programs Supporting Educators of Color

This section highlights leadership development, scholarships, fellowships, and storytelling opportunities that intentionally support educators of color at Noble. These programs reflect our belief that strong schools require diverse leadership and that access and exposure matter.

The opportunities included here were selected because they:

  • Align with Noble’s DEI commitments and long-term leadership goals
  • Emphasize identity-affirming leadership development

Scholarships & Fellowships

This curated list includes grants, fellowships, and stipends that support professional growth, licensure, and leadership development for educators of color. Programs listed here have a demonstrated track record of supporting educator persistence, advancement, and impact.

This section also serves as a reference guide for key deadlines and application considerations so staff can plan proactively.

 

Noble-Vetted PD by Role

This section organizes high-quality professional learning by role and function to help staff quickly identify opportunities that are most relevant to their work. Every organization or program listed has been reviewed through Noble’s internal PD criteria, with attention to rigor, applicability, and evidence of impact.

Inclusion below signals that a program:

  • Aligns to Noble’s instructional priorities and leadership expectations
  • Supports skill development that translates into daily practice
  • Has been used successfully within Noble or comparable contexts

This section is meant to support informed choice and to reduce the burden of sorting through countless external offerings.

Teachers

This subsection highlights nationally recognized professional organizations and learning opportunities that deepen content knowledge and instructional practice. These organizations were selected because they reflect strong disciplinary standards, research-based practices, and relevance to Noble classrooms.

Use this space to identify learning that strengthens curriculum implementation, assessment literacy, and content-specific pedagogy.

Instructional Leaders

These opportunities focus on coaching, instructional leadership, and systems that support adult learning. Programs listed here emphasize observation, feedback, and instructional decision-making aligned to Noble’s expectations for academic excellence. School Leaders

These programs support principals and school-level leaders in navigating complexity, leading teams, and sustaining strong outcomes. Opportunities here emphasize adaptive leadership, systems thinking, and equity-centered school improvement.

Culture Leaders

This section includes learning that supports student culture, community engagement, and inclusive school environments. Programs were selected for their emphasis on belonging, restorative practices, and culturally responsive leadership.

General Leadership Development

This section includes broader leadership development opportunities that may not be role-specific but support growth in influence, self-awareness, and organizational leadership. These experiences are often well-suited for leaders seeking to expand their impact or prepare for future roles.

Network Support Team (NST)

This section highlights role-aligned learning for NST teams, recognizing that strong schools require strong systems. Opportunities included here support strategic thinking, functional expertise, and cross-team collaboration in service of campuses.

Each subsection reflects the unique demands of NST roles while maintaining alignment to Noble’s shared leadership expectations.
