Brianna (Bri) Alvarez
The Noble Academy
Bri Alvarez, a proud California native, moved to Chicago as a single parent to pursue higher education at UIC and create a better future for herself and her child. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Media Communications, a foundation that fuels her passion for equity, community, and youth empowerment. Bri has dedicated her life’s work to the reconstruction and rehabilitation of disenfranchised urban communities, using her lived experiences and education to drive real change. Currently serving as an Associate Dean at The Noble Academy, Bri leads with empathy, cultural awareness, and a commitment to student success. Her work extends beyond the classroom through Bridge’z Inc., a nonprofit organization she founded to support at-risk youth with mentorship, academic support, and sports training. Through this initiative, she aims to build strong foundations for the next generation—providing opportunities, guidance, and hope. Bri’s mission is clear: to be a force for transformative change in the lives of youth who need it most. Whether in a school hallway, on a basketball court, or in a community center, she remains steadfast in her quest to uplift and empower. Her journey is a testament to resilience, vision, and unwavering dedication to justice and community.
