Jasmine Guy
Pritzker College Prep
Jasmine was born, raised, and still resides on the South Side of Chicago in the Bronzeville neighborhood. Growing up in poverty, she knew at a young age that she wanted a different life for herself. Surrounded by and encouraged by dedicated Black educators, Jasmine found both inspiration and a model of excellence that shaped her path. Their impact sparked her passion for education and her commitment to working with Black youth to help disrupt the opportunity gap.
Jasmine joined Noble in 2013 and, over the next decade, served the brilliant students and dedicated staff of Pritzker College Prep as a Teacher-at-Large, World History Teacher, Dean of Culture, Dean of Students, and most recently as Assistant Principal of Student Experience. As a school leader, her passion for serving students of color has expanded into developing and supporting staff of color, recognizing the powerful impact they have on students and communities.
A proud example of how college can create positive generational change, Jasmine now works to further Noble’s mission by investing in and developing other leaders of color so they can do the same. In 2020, she became a member of the Diverse Leaders Fellowship, where she learned alongside and from other leaders of color within Noble, an experience that continues to inform her leadership. Today, she looks forward to serving this beautiful community in a new way as a mentor, committed to lifting up and walking alongside the next generation of educators of color.
