Welcome to Gary Comer College Prep.

At GCCP, our mission is clear: to advance long-term economic and social mobility for our students and alumni. This year, we are deepening that mission through three priorities that guide everything we do: Academic Excellence with Equity, Pathways That Matter, and Adult Culture & Capacity.

It is a great privilege to be your principal, and I look forward to working with each of you and your families this year. I am an Illinois native, a wife, a mom of two girls and a dog, and a passionate educator who believes that an exceptional education is a human right.

I am heading into my 11th year at Noble and my 13th year in education. I began my teaching career in Kansas City, MO, through Teach for America, teaching Spanish, and then moved back home to Chicago to join Noble.  I  served for nine years at Gary Comer College Prep as a teacher, college counselor, and Assistant Principal. Most recently, I was the Principal of Mansueto High School for the last 4 years. I am happy to be back at Comer and serve as your Principal!

Together we work to realize our goal of equipping students to complete college and to achieve choice filled lives. It is my great hope that all of our students and families feel valued, successful and happy at Comer, and I look forward to doing the hard work to make this a reality.
