Hi Noble,

Last week, our College Team hosted Noble’s 5th Annual HBCU College Fair. Nearly 450 students from across our campuses attended, almost double the number of students who attended in 2023 and more than five times the turnout in 2022. This tremendous growth reflects the impact of the fair, which connects our students directly with representatives from Historically Black Colleges and Universities across the country, including Alabama State University, North Carolina A&T University, and Spelman College. The energy was electric, and I want to give a huge shout-out to Butler College Prep’s band for their incredible performance that kicked off the event.

This experience was made possible by the leadership, intentionality, and vision of our College Team. I would also like to thank our chaperones, who ensured our students had an excellent experience. Events like this turn dreams into tangible college pathways.

As we celebrate moments of joy like this, we also look ahead to a significant milestone in our academic mission. Interim assessments began this week - a meaningful way we measure growth, reflect on progress, and hold ourselves accountable to our commitment to academic excellence. I would like to acknowledge the work of our staff in preparing to administer these assessments and our students who will be showcasing their progress. Together, these efforts move us closer to our goal of growing our students academically and preparing them for the future they deserve.

Thank you for being part of this journey, and for showing up to make our community stronger.

Much Love,
Brenda

NOBLE'S ANNUAL HBCU FAIR RECAP

Last week, we hosted our 5th Annual HBCU Fair, where representatives from Historically Black Colleges and Universities across the country introduced their schools to Noble students. 🎓✨ The fair was a blast, complete with light refreshments and a special performance by Butler College Prep’s marching band.

This event has quickly become a highlight of the year, offering students meaningful opportunities to explore post-secondary options at some of the nation’s top HBCUs. Huge thanks to our college teams for creating these valuable spaces that help students envision their future! 🙌

MUCHIN AND PRITZKER COLLEGE PREP MEETS KEN BURNS

Muchin and Pritzker College Prep students were invited to WTTW studios for a special screening and conversation with acclaimed filmmaker Ken Burns. The event featured selections from his epic new six-part, 12-hour film, THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, as well as a behind-the-scenes discussion with Ken Burns himself. The film explores how thirteen British colonies won independence and created a new government that reshaped the continent and inspired democratic movements around the world.

This was a unique opportunity for students to engage directly with Ken Burns, asking questions about the American Revolution, democracy, filmmaking, and his remarkable career.

CELEBRATING LHM AT NOBLE SCHOOLS

We are almost through Latinx Heritage Month, and our campuses have been celebrating Latinx culture in many ways — from LHM career day and parades to student performances, parties, and bachata classes. The list goes on!

For some, these events were a celebration of culture and tradition, and a reminder of who they are. For others, they offered a chance to reflect on the richness of cultural diversity. Together, these experiences enriched the student experience and helped bring our school community closer.

DIAMOND SERIES AT BULLS COLLEGE PREP

At Bulls College Prep, the Diamond Series brings women from the Noble community to share their stories with the young women at the school. The idea is that, like a diamond, people are shaped under pressure before becoming something truly remarkable.

This year’s guest speaker was Brenda Cora, CEO of Noble Schools. She shared her journey to becoming CEO, starting at Noble’s original campus in 1999, and spoke openly about love, family, successes, and setbacks.

This series is important because it gives our young women a chance to hear the real, often untold parts of life. It helps them see they are not alone in the challenges they face. The event ended with a Q&A and sweet treats.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

We’re excited to recognize some of our outstanding Noble student-athletes for their hard work and standout performances throughout the month of September! 👏💪

🏐 Olivia Carrillo (#5) – Girls Volleyball at Muchin College Prep

Olivia, an outside hitter, came up huge in the opening match of the season. With her team down 22–21 in the second set, she delivered 4 straight points — including clutch aces — to seal the win. She showed resilience, mental toughness, and strong leadership throughout the match. 💙

🏈 Andre Boone – Football at UIC College Prep

Andre made a major impact with 19 receiving yards, 2 interceptions, and 4 solo tackles. His hustle, focus, and playmaking ability were key to his team’s success this week. 🔥

🏐 Aakaya White (#3) – Girls Volleyball at DRW College Prep

Aakaya dominated with 10 service aces while continuing to lead by example on and off the court. Balancing volleyball, work, and maintaining a 3.2 GPA, she’s a true role model. 👏🔥

⚽ Ruben Diaz – Boys Soccer at Speer Academy

When the starting goalkeeper went down, Ruben stepped up with heart and hustle. Taking on the toughest position on the field, he played with confidence and grit. ❤️🤍

🏐 Miranda Gamboa – Girls Volleyball at Butler College Prep

Miranda delivered her strongest performance of the season against Comer, tallying 13 service aces, 4 assists, and 3 kills in a 2–1 victory. She also posted big numbers in a recent non-conference match. Beyond the stats, her positive energy continues to inspire her team. ✨

⚽ David Garcia – Boys Soccer at Bulls College Prep

David played three different positions like a pro and still managed to score a hat trick 🎩. Always lifting up his teammates and bringing the heat, he’s the spark of his squad. 💪
