The MIP connected students with 12 employer partners (Medline, Soucie Horner, Charter School Growth Fund, Norcon, Lurie Children’s Hospital, and more!) across Chicago and beyond to participate in 1-2 week-long internship experiences. These experiences were offered in virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats, allowing for flexibility and broad engagement. The program was designed to offer immersive, real-world exposure across a range of industries including education, health services, nonprofit management, and more, while equipping participants with practical skills and deeper career awareness.

A total of 36 students completed the program, participating in hands-on projects, site visits, and networking opportunities aimed at fostering professional growth and exploration.
