Hi Noble,
Happy Black History Month!
As we celebrate the legacy of resilience, care, and opportunity within our communities, I want to begin with a message of clarity and reassurance for our families. While there are changes underway to SNAP benefits at the federal level, there will be no changes to Noble’s food program. Our students will continue to receive meals as they always have because ensuring they are supported and ready to learn remains a top priority.
That same commitment to care also shows up in how we invest in our students’ futures. Nearly 1,000 of our rising juniors participate in Summer of a Lifetime, gaining firsthand college experience by living on campus and taking real college courses. This program has long been transformative for our students and for me personally. When I went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison for the first time, college stopped being an idea and became a real place where I could see myself. Not someday. Not for someone else. For me. Summer of a Lifetime didn’t just open a door; it affirmed that I had every right to walk through it.
Programs like Summer of a Lifetime are just one way our students are preparing for college, and our broader college-going momentum continues across Noble. Juniors will soon connect with more than 100 colleges and universities at our annual Junior College Fair, and our seniors are beginning to receive exciting news. This year, 14 students were named QuestBridge Scholars and 10 earned Posse Scholarships. These are amongst the most prestigious and competitive awards in the country. We are incredibly proud of our seniors' dedication and perseverance.
Together, we are honoring the past, supporting the present, and building choice-filled futures with our students.
Much Love,
Brenda

HONORS MUSIC COMPETITION AND FESTIVAL
Noble’s Music Competition will take place on Friday, February 13 at NEIU, bringing together talented student ensembles and directors from across the network. If you’re free, we invite you to come out and support our students and music staff as they showcase all the hard work they’ve put into their craft.
This spring, the celebration continues with Noble’s Honors Music Performance on Saturday, March 7 at 11:00 AM at NEIU. This free, public concert will feature the top student musicians from across Noble schools and highlight the creativity, dedication, and joy that music brings to our community.
To close the concert, Noble teachers and staff are invited to join the Community Choir for a special finale. The choir will rehearse at 9:30 AM on the morning of the performance and come together at 11:00 AM to sing Higher Love by Whitney Houston. Vocal parts and practice recordings are included in the registration form. If you’re interested in participating, sign up here to join the Community Choir.

PARENT ADVISORY COUNCIL IN ACTION AT BAKER COLLEGE PREP
The weather has been cold, but our parents and families at Baker College Prep continue to keep our staff’s hearts warm. Our Parent Advisory Council stepped up in a big way, braving the cold to surprise staff with hot chocolate and thoughtful gestures.
It’s moments like this that show how powerful community support can be. Every effort, big or small, counts and we truly appreciate everything our parents do to support our schools. Big thanks to our parents for always showing up and showing out!
If you’re looking for ways to get involved, check out your campus' PAC and reach out to your campus PACEr.
