WELCOME PARENTS

The door to a child’s education opens at the home. At Mansueto High School, we truly believe partnering with our parents will be crucial to the success of our students and the success of our school. Working together, and sending one consistent message to our students will make each student much more successful. There are a number of ways to get involved at Mansueto High School!

GET TO KNOW YOUR CHILD’S ADVISOR

Your student’s advisor is the “parent away from home.” He or she is responsible for ensuring that your child is meeting all of the promotion requirements at Mansueto High School! Should you need anything or have any questions the best place to start would be to speak to your student’s advisor.

GET TO KNOW YOUR CHILD’S TEACHERS

We have a parent night at the beginning of each school year, where you will get to know each of your student’s teachers. Attending this parent night will allow you to see who your students will be interacting with each day. Our teachers make themselves accessible via phone and email, before and after school hours. Please take advantage of this and get to know your student’s teacher.

KNOW YOUR STUDENT’S PROGRESS

Mansueto High School will send a newsletter home every single week. Every other week, on the back of the newsletter, you will be able to see your student’s progress report. This must be signed every single week. We also have an online system – Power School – that will allow you to check your student’s grades and discipline infractions. You can also sign up to get automatic updates! Knowing where your student is, in terms of promotion requirements will allow you to know how best to support him or her.

GET INVOLVED!

Mansueto High School has a Parent Advisory Council! We discuss ideas on how to make the school a better place for students and families. Please reach out to Ms. Calderon, our Administrative Assistant, if you would like to join!
