OUR PARTNERSHIP
ITW partners with ITW David Speer Academy by opening up spaces for Speer seniors to participate in an internship program that offers them a breadth of on-the-job experiences. Speer interns gain hands-on work experiences and contribute to real-world projects alongside ITW leaders. The high school internship program is a partnership between ITW and Speer Academy that is one-of-a-kind for Noble Schools which has created an immersive early-career exploration opportunities in the STEAM field.
ITW & SPEER ALUMNI
In addition to the one-of-a-kind high school internship program we offer to Speer students, we also encourage Speer alumni to apply for our internships for college students.
ITW is a manufacturing company, but we offer paid internships for college students that are rising juniors and seniors in many different fields: engineering, marketing, accounting, IT, and HR, among others. Our interns are viewed as trusted team members, so we’ll give you real-world, hands-on experiences to help ignite your full potential. On top of that, we’ll make sure you have the tools you need for career development, including strong coaching, mentorship, and networking with senior leaders at ITW.

SCOTT SANTI
E. Scott Santi is Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Illinois Tool Works Inc.
Mr. Santi joined ITW in 1983 and has spent his entire career with the company. He was elected Executive Vice President in 2004 and named Vice Chairman in 2008. He became the Company’s Chief Executive Officer in 2012 and was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2015.
Mr. Santi is a member of the Board of Directors of W.W. Grainger (NYSE: GWW).
Mr. Santi graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois and received a Master’s of Business Administration from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
