Claudia Rodriguez, Chief of Public Affairs, Noble Schools
Claudia serves as the Chief of Public Affairs for Noble Schools where she oversees the communications and government and community affairs strategy for the network.
She has 13 years of experience in outreach and policy. She’s focused on issues from economic development to public health, advising clients on the most effective ways to implement community affairs programs to support legislative and regulatory approvals at the local, state and federal levels. She has also advocated in the Illinois General Assembly, coordinated legislative hearings and testimony, as well as conducted direct engagements with state lawmakers.
She also serves as SSA #25 Commissioner of the Little Village Special Service Area, representing her family’s business. In this role, she advocates on behalf of small businesses for access to resources. In addition, she focuses on highlighting the rich culture and entrepreneurial spirit of the Little Village business community.
She previously served as Executive Director of the Illinois Beverage Association, leading the organization towards the successful repeal of the Cook County beverage tax. Prior to that, she worked as a legislative aide to the chairman of the Committee on Health and Environmental Protection where she conducted research and assisted committee members, and the Office of the Mayor with policy introduction.
Claudia is a lifelong Chicagoan from Little Village. She is a current board member of the Mexican Civic Society of Illinois and, in 2016, was named one of Negocios Now Latinos 40 under 40. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Journalism from DePaul University and a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University.
